We are excited to share that our executive director, Yosuke Nagai, was recently featured in The Asahi Shimbun.

The article, “Japanese NPO reaches out to former terrorists in Somalia”, highlights our mission to help former combatants of non-state armed groups return to society, as well as the origins of why he began this work in the first place.

Nagai details our inclusive-based approach, which focuses on accepting them as individuals with potential to become “agents of peace” rather than viewing them as risks and threats to society.
