We are excited to welcome you to our online event, where we will screen short documentary films highlighting the realities of conflict resolution.
While we have regularly hosted online events to share updates on our activities, it has been difficult to tell concrete images about the armed conflict occurring around the world and what we do there. Therefore, to give you a more detailed sense of the reality on the ground where we work, we have organized an event featuring short documentary films since this spring.
Alongside a brief explanation of the issues we address and our approach, we will screen short documentary films that highlight our work in Somalia, as well as the mindset of our Executive Director, Dr. Yosuke Nagai. Following the screening, we will also introduce our recent activities, including efforts to establish international norms for the protection and empowerment of youth engaged in armed conflict.
We hope you will join us to gain a deeper understanding of the realities of conflict resolution and to reflect on pathways toward sustaining peace.
