Accept International is a hands-on international NGO working in conflict-affected countries and regions, including Somalia, Yemen, Kenya, Indonesia, and Colombia. Through our efforts on peacebuilding and conflict resolution, we work to break cycles of violence and build sustainable peace. As part of this mission, we support young people who have become involved in armed groups to lay down their weapons, reintegrate into society, and become agents of peace in their communities.
In 2025, we established Accept International USA in Houston, Texas, to expand these efforts from the United States towards sustainable peace.
We are excited to host our first “Volunteer Information Session” for people based in the United States. We are looking for passionate volunteers, including interns and pro bono who are interested in helping advance our initiatives in the United States.
During this information session, staff members of the Accept International USA and current volunteers will introduce our organization, share our ongoing initiatives in the United States, and explain what it is like to be part of our team.
The session will conclude with a Q&A, where you can ask questions about the roles, time commitment, and volunteer experience. If you have any questions before the event, please feel free to contact us at contact@accept-int.org.
